18 Mi'yiirul Madhahib would like to know what arrangements were made for the salvation of the creatures who lived before the time of our own Adam and who had no connection whatsoever with the present human race. Was it this same son who was crucified time and again for their salvation, or was it some other son who would accept the cross for the sake of earlier creations? To the best of my judgement, I believe that if there can be no re- demption without crucifixion, then the God of the Christians must have possessed countless sons who would have been useful in such endeavours now and then, and each one of them must have been crucified in his own good time. Hence, it would be futile to ex- pect any good from a God whose own youthful sons continued to die. During the debate at Amritsar I also raised the fol- lowing question.
