والمشایخ العلماء أیها والفقهاء. إنی رأیت تَعامیَكم قلبی فتأجج مصنّفاتكم، فی تكم. إنكم تسیرون فی َ لجهال المَعامی، وال تخافون جَوۡب الحوامی. وإنی عِفۡت ُ أن أفصّل مقاالتكم. وأبیّن حاالتكم، البصر، سالمۃ مع أتعامیتم والخبر؟ العلم مع وتجاهلتم والفهم العقل عندكم كان الصافی، ولكن النفس صارت ثالثۃ االٔثافی. إن ّ حب ّ العَین فی والطمع عینَیكم، سلَب كرم الناس مـحَق كریمتَیكم. O ulema, sheikhs, and jurists! I have observed your feigned blindness in your writings. Hence, my heart has burnt on account of your foolish- ness. You traverse obscure tracts of land and do not hesitate to rush into dangers. I held back from setting out your condition in detail and exposing your statements. Are you pretending to be blind despite hav- ing healthy eyes and feigning igno- rance despite possessing knowledge and information? You had pure and clear reason and understanding but your very self has become the abode of every kind of evil. The love of riches has blinded you and the greed for the generosity of people has taken away the light of your eyes. َ َّ یَعۡلَمُوۡن ال ٍ ِِّٰ لِقَوۡم لل ُ اَلۡوَصِؔیَّۃ A word of advice for the sake of Allah, for a people who do not know
