44 O horde of the enemy! Repent like those who fear the wrath of God the Gracious and turn to Him before the day of loss, and who transform themselves in order to seek God’s pleasure. Seek [His] mercy because He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. O deluded one! Be ashamed of your ignorance and ask forgiveness for your trans- gressions. Ponder over your loss, your moral degradation, and your being exposed, and reproach yourself like those who fear. Know that whoever under- takes to investigate any trace of Jesus being alive is like one who cuts off his nose with a razor inas- much as this whole corruption was spread through the belief in Jesus’ life, and the earth has dark- ened due to this hideous belief. Besides, you are unable to bring evidence in support of [ Jesus’] life. You accept the statements of man but reject the words of Allah خافوا قهر الرحمن، وأنابوا قبل ء یوم الخسران، وغیَّروا ما ی مج في أنفسهم ابتغاء لمرضات اللّٰ، یا معشر أهل العدوان. اطلبوا الراحمین. أرحم وهو الرحم فتندّم یا مغرور علی جهالتك، وفكِّر فرطاتك، من واعتذر عرضك وانحطاط خسرك ْ في وازدجِر سترك، وانكشاف كا لخا ئفین. واعلم ْ أنه من نهض لیستقري أثر حیاة عیسی، فما هو إال كجادع مارن أنفِه بموسی، فإن الفساد كل الفساد ظهر مِن ظن ِّ حیاة المسیح، واسودّت االٔرض من هذا االعتقاد القبیح، ومع ذلك ال تقدرون علی إیراد دلیل علی الحیاة، وتأخذون
