Mirza Ghulam Ahmad 35 Hearken, God’s curse is also upon those who are perfidi- ous and break their promises, those who do not do what they say, and make covenants yet do not fulfil them, and speak like the deceitful and the untrue. Such people are indeed cursed by God, the angels, and all mankind. So fear the curse of Allah and fulfil your promises like the truthful. If you cannot keep your promise and do not possess wealth like the rich, then seek those who can come to your aid and heal your wounds and become your support. If your supporters prove to be your true devotees, they will help you like your disciples. For it is incum- bent upon people to help the needy, free the captives, respect the ulema, and have goodwill for the well-wishers. However, you will not demand a single penny except after the testimony of the arbi- trators. And as for the verdict, it will be passed by two arbitrators علی الغادر ین النا كثین، الذین ویعاهدون یفعلون، وال یقولون وال ینجزون، وال یتكلمون إال فعلیهم المزوّر ین، كالخادعین والناس ّٰ والمالئكة الل ْ لعنة أجمعین. فاتّق ِ لعنة الل ّٰ وأَنجِز وإن َ كالصادقین. وعدت ما إ یفاء، ولیس ال ْ كنت ال تقدر علی ا فاطلب كاالٔمراء، مال عندك جراحك یأسُون قومًا لعونك ویریشون جناحك، فإن كانوا من ُ المصدّقین المعتقدین، فیعینونك كالمر یدین، مع أن دِین القوم جبر واحترام ُّ االٔسیر، وفك الكسیر النصحاء. واستنصاح العلماء علی أنك لن تطالب بدرهم إال بعد شهادة حَكم، وأما الحكم
