6 لرسله من الوارثین. وكان من مفائح تعلیمه، وعطایا تفهیمه، أن المسیح عیسی بن مر یم قد مات كإخوانه ّ وتُوفّي الطبعی بموته من المرسلین. وبشّرني وقال إن یرقبونه الذي الموعود المسیح ّ والمهدي المسعود الذي ینتظرونه هو أنت، نفعل ما نشاء فال تكونن َ من الممتر ین. وقال إنّا جعلناك المسیح ابن مر یم، ففَض َّ خَتْم سِرِّه وجعلني علی دقائق االٔمر هذه وتواترت المطّلعین. من البشارات، وتتابعت إ لهامات، ال ا ُ حتی صرت ُ من المطمئنین. ثم تخیّرت ُ طر یق الحزامة، ورجعت إلی كتاب الل ّٰ خفیر ِ طرق السالمة، It is by the grace of His teach- ing and through the gift of under- standing bestowed by Him that [I have learned that] the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, died a natu- ral death and passed away just as his other fellow Messengers passed away. Allah gave me glad tidings and said: ‘The Promised Messiah whom they are looking forward to and the blessed Mahdi whom they are awaiting, is none other than you. We do whatever We please. Be not, therefore, of those who doubt. ’ He also said: ‘We made you the Messiah, son of Mary. ’ Thus He broke the seal of His secret and informed me of the mysteries of this matter. These revelations occurred with such frequency and these glad tid- ings were given so regularly that I became fully convinced. Then I chose the path of care and dis- cretion and turned my attention towards the Book of Allah that guards the pathways of peace,
