62 The commentary of al-Qa si dah prophet. He was adamantly declaring that he was a prophet and would undoubtedly prevail. Although, the retreat of the Muslim army was a temporary setback, the final victory would be his. The enemy might have viewed the Prophet’s determined bravery and solitary advance upon their large attacking army, while proceeding unharmed, as a supernatural event. In order to ensure the enemy did not mistake him for God he was reciting, ‘ ’I am a human being and the son [i. e. grandson] of ‘Abdul-Mu tt alib. ’ The recorded statements of the Holy Prophet’s sa companions paint the Holy Prophet sa as the bravest among them. 4 Therefore, the quality of the Holy Prophet sa mentioned in this couplet has been substantiated with historical facts. COUPLET 10 The wise chose your company and followed you; And the truthful relinquished their hearths and homes to be with you. Jesus Christ is reported to have said that a tree is recognized by its fruit (Matthew 12:33).
