52 The commentary of al-Qa si dah the reason that this couplet illustrates the Holy Prophet sa as the full moon, reflecting the light of the sun to people in a time of darkness. COUPLETS 5 and 6 People shed tears when they fondly reminisce of your grace and beauty; A fire consumes their hearts due to the pains of separation. I see their hearts are in such anxiety as if they have reached their throats ; I see that their eyes are flowing with tears. When one is deeply in love with another, separation from the beloved is very painful for the lover. At times the sorrow of separation brings forth tears from the eyes.
