The commentary of al-Qa si dah 29 •[KhyŽ5 –—R ˜5™š› œh”Rž‹RŸM K€ U¡y—¢£¤M¥[¦-x§¨©‰ I swear by All a h that if all my sons, my grandsons, my helpers and my servants were slaughtered in my presence; and my hands and feet severed, my eyes plucked out and all my desires were left unfulfilled; it would all be less shocking to me than the insult and ridicule of these people. ( A ’ i na’-e-Kam a l a t-e-Isl a m, R uha n i Khaz a ’in , vol. 5, p. 15, translated from Arabic) On one occasion, the Promised Messiah was staying at Lahore, India (currently in Pakistan). Pundit Lekh Ram, a Hindu who used to abuse the Holy Prophet Muhammad sa with foul language, offered sal a m [i. e. greeting of ‘peace’] to him, but he did not respond. The Pundit offered his sal a m a second time and he still paid no heed. One of the companions of the Promised Messiah as pointed out that Pundit Lekh Ram was offering sal a m to him upon which the Promised Messiah as stated, ‘ He utters filthy words against my master and offers sal a m to me?’ In other words, the envy of the Promised Messiah as did not allow him to exchange salutations with one who utters filth against his master. INTENSITY OF LOVE It is quite obvious from the writings of the Promised Messiah as that there was an ocean of love flowing in his heart for his patron,
