The commentary of al-Qa si dah 147 and timing has nothing to do with his superiority, but is dependent upon the excellence of attributes and achievements. Therefore, irrespective of the era in which the Holy Prophet sa existed, and irrespective of the number of people who would attain divine nearness after him, the Holy Prophet sa would remain supreme. COUPLET 50 Reflect! The drizzle precedes the heavy rain. Yet drizzle is drizzle and rain is rain. In this couplet, a question is being answered that if the Holy Prophet sa is superior to all the previous prophets, then what is the status of the prophets who were sent to the people by All a h in the past. The writer of the Qa si dah explains that they were similar to a light rain that signifies that a heavier rain is about to come. In the same manner, the previous prophets came to give the glad tidings that the Holy Prophet sa was going to appear. They were all entrusted to foretell only that the leader of the prophets, their jewel, the Seal of the Prophets, king of humanity, Hadrat Muhammad sa was about to appear.
