118 The commentary of al-Qa si dah returned. Afterwards, Murthad went back to fetch a prisoner and brought him back to Medina. 20 This incident is a great illustration of the transformation that had taken place. A prostitute who was his close friend before the advent of Islam was calling him to spend a night with her and he refused knowing that his life would be in danger, and his only response was that the Prophet had outlawed adultery and therefore I cannot do it. All a h also describes in the Holy Qur’ a n:     ᅔ  .  And those who bear not false witness, and when they pass by anything vain, they pass on with dignity. ( al-Furq a n , 25:73 ) This verse means that the people whose former condition did not distinguish lies from truth, now do not give any false witness nor do they make any false agreements and when they see people engaged in absurd and foolish activities, they refrain from involving themselves. The Holy Qur’ a n says:         That these same people who would not listen to the truth nor try to comprehend it, now when the Words of All a h 20 Sunan An-Nasa’ i , Kit a bun-Nik ah , B a bu Tazw i jiz-Z a niyah, H ad i th no. 3228
