The Commentary of Al-Qasidah — Page 43
The commentary of al-Qa si dah 43 in introducing the searchers to All a h the Almighty. This being the case, All a h has responded to the natural requests of His lovers in the following words: ۠ If you love All a h, follow me, then All a h will love you and forgive you your faults. ’ And All a h is Most Forgiving, Merciful. ( A l-e-‘Imr a n , 3:32) This verse addresses such people who claim to love All a h. If they are truthful in their claim and sincerely desire to meet their Lord, then they should follow the Holy Prophet sa. He will take them to All a h and the result of this nearness and union will be All a h’s reciprocated love. At another place All a h says: ᅓ And when My servants ask you about Me (say): ‘I am near. I answer the prayer of the supplicant when he prays to Me’. ( al-Baqarah , 2:187 ) The above verses make it obvious that the only door open to All a h is through the Holy Prophet sa. All other spiritual fountains have dried. However, one spring is still flourishing and will never suffer depletion. It is the fountain of the Holy Prophet sa. There exists no other method or means of achieving spiritual heights and blessings from All a h. The Promised Messiah as , the writer of this Qa si dah,
