The commentary of al-Qa si dah 121 COUPLET 40 What a noble man! What a man of glory ! His breath smells like the fragrance of sweet basil. COUPLET 41 The Protector (God) is visible in his face; And all of his virtues shine in great glory. The first part of the couplet could mean that in the pleasure of the Holy Prophet sa was a reflection of the pleasure of All a h and that his person is a manifestation of God Himself, and that this manifestation has reflected itself in all of his great works. This couplet mentions another superiority of the Holy Prophet sa over other prophets. It says that the person of the Holy Prophet sa was a complete and perfect manifestation of God Himself. The previous prophets and other pious people became manifestations of All a h according to their capacities or spiritual levels, but none from among them was able to become a perfect
