This was announced when Jesus was alive in flesh. It shows that for the forgiveness for sin, death on the cross is not necessary. (3) Jesus was killed the Christains hold-for their sake, to expiate them. Had he not been crucified the mission of Paul and the faith of Christians would become void of meaning.
