A Review of the Pakistani Government’s “White Paper”: Qadiyaniyyat—A Grave Threat to Islam [ 17 ] Ahmadiyyat is a Vibrant Movement for the Renaissance of Islam As far as the Christian world is concerned, we need to examine how Ahmadiyyat was introduced to them. Was it as a dreadful movement against Islam, as alleged by the opponents of Ahmadiyyat, or an awe-striking movement against Christianity? Listen to this story in the words of the Christian researchers of the past and present. I have several references but I have not arranged them chronologically. For your interest and to help you under- stand the true purpose and objectives of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jam a ‘at, I shall present to you the impressions of some Christian thinkers which they expressed after their encounters with Ahmadiyyat. The Christians felt the stun- ning impact of the activities of Ahmadiyyat in defense of Islam. Therefore, a commission of different Christian churches published a report in 1969. This commission had been set up to review the Ahmadiyya Jam a ‘at.
