58 Sixth Heavenly Testimony In September, 1913, I was in Simla for a few days. At the time of my departure from Qadian, Hadrat Khalifatul Masih I ra was in good health. Then just one or two days after I had arrived in Simla, I had a vision in which I saw that I was sitting in my room [in Qadian] and the time was around 2 o’clock. I saw that Mirza Abdul- Ghafoor, who lived in Kalanour, came to see me and called my name from downstairs. I asked him about the purpose of his visit. He said that Hadrat Khalifatul Masih ra was seriously ill and was running a temperature around 102 degrees. He said that he was sent by him to inform me that he had published his will in al-Badr , and that I could see it printed in the paper in March. I got extremely worried and for a moment thought of immediately returning to Qadian. But then I thought it would be appropriate to first confirm whether Hadrat Khalifatul Masih ra was really ill. So I sent a telegram and enquired about his health. H u du r wrote back that he was feeling well. Later, I related this vision to Naww a b Muhammad Ali Khan, Chief of the State of Maler Kotla, and Sayyed Sarwar Shah. I think someone from the sons of Naww a b Muhammad Ali, such as Mian Abdur-Rahman Khan, Mian Abdullah Khan or Mian Abdur- Rahim Khan was also present on the occasion when I had related this dream. In fact, there were many people sitting around me when I related it. One must now reflect how God Almighty informed me of Hadrat Khalifatul Masih ’s ra demise and how He revealed to me four distinctive signs in this regard. They were such that none could
