33 tell them that it is in fact they who are in the wrong and only that which is conveyed by God is true; for He is the Most Truthful of all those who speak the truth. Path of Reconciliation There are people who suggest reconciliation between the two parties. I would like to ask them if in that case the other party would abandon their belief that there should be no Khalifah. Or will we consequently renounce our own belief that there must be a Khalifah ? If none of us are going to abandon our belief, then the proposed reconciliation would result in a grouping of people who hold contradictory beliefs, and consider the beliefs of each other to be extremely harmful for the Jam a ‘at. Will such a grouping result in harmony or further discord? Yet, I am ready for reconciliation, and I am the son of the one who was called ‘The Prince of Peace’. However, I cannot accept a reconciliation that destroys the faith; but I am more eager than everybody else for a reconciliation based on firm adherence to the truth. I deeply appreciate the parable of Jesus which is recorded in Luke, chapter 15. It says: A certain man had two sons. And younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. ’ So he divided to them his livelihood.
