16 them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 6 So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. 7 These verses prove that Jesus had assigned the task of preaching to his disciples, but they also make it clear that he did not give his Jam a ‘at into the custody of a group of people; rather he only spoke to Peter by saying ‘Feed my lamb… Feed my sheep. ’ However, when it came to initiating people into his fold, Jesus called upon all of his disciples to preach the kingdom of God and heal the sick. Similar instructions have been set out by the Promised Messiah as in al- Wa s iyyat. However, when he mentioned his Khulaf a ’ , he wrote, This is the Way of God. And ever since He created man on earth He has always been demonstrating this Divine practice. He helps His Prophets as and Messengers as and grants them success and predominance, as He says: 8 And by predominance is meant that as Messengers as and Prophets as desire that God’s H ujjat 9 is established in the world and no one is able to oppose it, so, in turn, does God demonstrate with powerful 6 Verses: 1, 2 7 Ibid. , verse 6 8 Allah has decreed: ‘Most surely I will prevail, I and My Messengers. ’ ( S u rah al-Muj a dalah , 58:22) 9 Literally argument.
