128 is still faced with the debate on whether the Promised Messiah as was a Prophet or not. The reason for this is that those at the helm of this disagreement have failed to properly study the books of the Promised Messiah as ; and if ever they had studied them, they did so with the preconceived belief that he was not a prophet. Their condition is the same as that of the Christians who study the Holy Quran from beginning to the end, yet they fail to find in it anything useful. In view of all this, I intend to appoint some people who should write a comprehensive booklet on this subject. Other Needs of the Jam a a a a ‘at An important landmark of the time of the Promised Messiah as is the Min a ratul-Mas ih , about which he had said that once completed it would cause many blessings of Allah to descend. No appeal for financial contributions was made when its construction started. I had once said that it would itself attract contributions when we would start constructing it, in that people would on their own start making contributions. The Jam a ‘at in Qadian has volunteered around 500 rupees. I had not made any formal announcement; they arranged for this money on their own. The total sum of money that has been spent on the minaret so far is about 2000 rupees. Keeping this in mind, the members of the Jam a ‘at should try to contribute the remaining 1500 rupees. Several other projects are underway. We ourselves have to make the financial sacrifices to carry them out. We have bid farewell to the non-Ahmad i s; and some of those who initially belonged to us have now left us. So you are the only people left to pay attention to the other projects as well.
