103 and tribes. Almighty God also has drawn the attention of the people towards the point that this is the only reason why people have been divided into different tribes and castes. Look at the governments that have large armies. They first divide them into divisions, and then to distinguish between them, they give them different names. Then they divide them further into regiments and platoons and companies. The purpose of all these divisions is to achieve efficiency and help facilitate recognition to one other. For instance, should we say that such and such a person is a soldier in the government army, our saying so does not clarify where the said person lives or where his company or regiment has camped; but if we say he belongs to such and such platoon, and lives in a specific cantonment, he can be located quickly. The tribes, too, have their names for the same purpose. However, these divisions also make it clear that not all people are alike. Some are more noble and decent, while some happen to be less noble and decent, and then some drop down even further. There is definitely going to be difference, but who is really noble? To explain this, the Holy Quran says: 7 That is: The most honourable among you in the sight of Allah, is he who is more pious, or who is more righteous and God-fearing. The more one fears Allah, the more righteous and pious he becomes. This has been clearly illustrated that there are people who are good, and there are those who are not good.
