88 else do you wish to attain when you have been blessed by God to be His servants? You should be steadfast with this service and leave the worldly agitations to those who fall upon the world like insects. It is better that you engage yourselves in agitation against the Satan. Need for Focussing on Islam and its Service Once I travelled to Lahore to attend a marriage ceremony. Among the guests was the editor of a famous newspaper of Lahore. There was a conflict between Turkey and Austria at that time and the newspapers were arguing that the Austrian products should be boycotted. Just a few days before this marriage, I had written an essay in response to an absurd article of the same editor, whereby I had severely criticized him. When we met, he asked me how old I was. I said that I was nineteen. He was amazed to hear this and asked whether this was truly my age. This was probably due to his remembering that essay of mine. Thereafter, he asked me what our response should be about Austria which has occupied two Turkish provinces. I said that we have already been assigned a huge task [by God]. How can we divert our attention to anything else? He said that we should boycott the Austrian products, and must not buy any of the items manufactured there. It so happened that the cap which I was wearing at that time was of an Italian make. The editor said that we must not wear caps made by Austria. I told him I was not in agreement with him on this issue. Moreover, the cap I was wearing was made in Italy, and not Austria. At the time, I used to wear such caps, but the Promised Messiah as did not like these caps.
