sa ± _________________________________________________________________ Who does not wish to have the nearness of the Holy Prophet on the Day of Judgment and go through each sa dangerous phase under his protection? Certainly everyone wants to be protected from Allah's Wrath, and this is the way to be saved and to retain the nearness to the Holy Prophet sa which he has told us about. Therefore a believer should sa always be focused towards invoking blessings and should take every opportunity to say. Durud − In a Tradition related by Hadrat Anas the Holy ra ± ± Prophet said: sa The person who will send blessings and salutations on me a thousand times a day will sight his station in Paradise while in this world. (Jila’ul-Afham, quoted by Ibnul-Ghaz and Kitabus-Salati ™ − − − ¿ − ± ± − ‘Alan-Nabiyyi li-Ab Abdillahil-Maqdas ) ™ ™ ¿ − ¿ The transformations brought about by the blessings of invoking will make one's life on the earth heavenly. Durud − Furthermore, it is these good deeds and pious acts, which will make the present life heavenly, as well as these will make one the recipient of Paradise in the Hereafter. A Tradition narrated by Hadrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin ± ± − al-As relates that he heard the Holy Prophet say: ra sa − When you hear the calling for prayer you should muedhdhin repeat his words, then send blessings on me. Allah sends ten-fold blessings on a person who invokes blessings and 77
