For example, in the phrase on the right, qirtaas (paper) is the noun and abyadun (white) is the adjective. The types are: 1. Ism-Tafdeel (Comparative adjective) This shows a greater degree of quality when two things are compared. 2. Ism-Tasgheer ( Comparative adjective) This shows a lower degree of quality when two things are compared. 3. Ism-Mubaaligha (Superlative adjective) This shows extreme superiority in comparison to others.
