After the second prostration, the Imam says Allahu Akbar and sits down the same way as before. Then, everyone recites silently: At-Tashah-hud at-tahiyyaatu liLlahi, was-salawaatu wat-tayyibaatu as-salaamu `alaika ayyuhan-nabiyyu wa rahmat-Ullahi wa barakaatuhoo; as-salaamu `alainaa wa `alaa `ibaadi-Llahi- ssaaliheen; At this point, raise the index finger to recite: Ash-hadu allaa ilaaha illAllahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `abduhoo wa rasooluh All verbal worship is due to Allah — and all physical acts of worship and financial sacrifices.
