Most of the verbs in Arabic consist of three-letter roots. A verb can adopt one of the three main forms when changing from Maadee (Past) into Mudaari` , as given be- low: When changing into mudaari` , the strokes ( irab ) on the middle letter of the root por- tion of the verb remains constant for all the conjugations in the mudaari` form.
