BarĀhĪn-e-a H madiyya — Part Four 414 ت �یس� ن � �ی�ار از امےعن را �ی�اں ن اف� ت �یس� ن � ِ ہچب او زن ربرس اشن ابر Nothing hinders those lost in love from the Friend, Nor are their wives and children a burden to them. �ی�ار ش � ی � چ � �ی� ر رہ دم ب � ن � ابد و دص ز اخر اب او لگ لگ ِ ادنر رجہ اخر Despite a hundred obligations, they are ever present in the Beloved’s court; When in His company, thorns are to them flowers; in His absence flowers are thorns. دص اغفن ى وت �ب�یک اخرے ربار اعاقشں دنخاں اپبےئ اجں اشفں You wail and shout a hundred times when a single thorn pierces you, But those lovers remain cheerful even when sacrificing their lives. ٰیل انف ِ وم تمظع در اعاقشں واف از د �ی� � وت در�ی�اےئ ہ ئ رغق� The lovers are lost in the glory of their Lord; They are immersed in the ocean of Tau hi d [Oneness of God] on account of their fidelity. و رہم اشن ہمہ رہب دخاتس ن ں ی ک� رہق اشن رگتسہ آں رہق دخاتس Their enmity, their friendship, is all for the sake of God; Even their fury, when it is shown, is, in fact, God’s fury. در قشع ِ ادح وحم وانفتس ہك آن رہہچ زو آ�ی� د ز ذات ربک�ی�اتس When one is lost and absorbed in the love of the One God, Whatever one does is the doing of the Greatest Being. �ی� ر قح اتس ت �ی� ر اُو � ت افین اتس و � اتس ِ قح ر �چ�ی� ن � ن � درالص او د �ی� � He is mortal, but his arrow is God’s arrow; His quarry is, in truth, God’s quarry.
