BarĀhĪn-e-a H madiyya — Part three 168 disappeared from people’s hearts, false creeds have spread all around, and people are infatuated with the world and it is feared that the faith will be lost; at such times God will always continue to raise spiritual khulaf a’ [successors] at whose hands the Faith shall be granted spiritual support and triumph, and truth shall then be honoured and falsehood shall be brought to disgrace. Thus, faith may always return to its original bloom and the believers may be granted security from the fear of the spreading of misguidedness and the loss of faith. 1 ْتَّدَو ٌةَفِٕىٓاَّط ْنِّم ِلْهَا ِبٰتِكْلا ْوَل ْمُكَنْوُّلِضُي١ؕ َو اَم َنْوُّلِضُي ۤاَّلِا ْمُهَسُفْنَا َو اَم َنْوُرُعْشَي After this He says that, a section from the Christians and the Jews would fain lead you astray one way or the other. How can they lead you astray when they are leading their own selves astray; but they are not aware of their mistake. 2 َّو َنْوُّبِحُي ْنَا اْوُدَمْحُّي اَمِب ْمَل اْوُلَعْفَي اَلَف ْمُهَّنَبَسْحَت ٍةَزاَفَمِب َنِّم ِباَذَعْلا َو ْمُهَل ٌباَذَع ٌمْيِلَا They love to be praised for what they have not done, so think not that they will escape punishment. A grievous chastisement is prescribed for them. َو ْنَم ُمَلْظَا ْنَّمِم َعَنَّم َدِجٰسَم ِهّٰللا ْنَا َرَكْذُّي اَهْيِف ٗهُمْسا َو ىٰعَس ْيِف اَهِباَرَخ َكِٕىٰٓلوُا اَم َناَك ْمُهَل ْنَا 3 ۤاَهْوُلُخْدَّي اَّلِا َنْيِفِٕىٓاَخ١ؕ۬ ْمُهَل يِف اَيْنُّدلا ٌيْزِخ َّو ْمُهَل يِف ِةَرِخٰاْلا ٌباَذَع ٌمْيِظَع And who is more unjust than he who prohibits the remembrance of Allah in Allah’s mosques and strives to ruin and destroy them.
