Footnote Number Eleven — Ninth Objection 163 1 َو ِلُق ُدْمَحْلا ِهّٰلِل ْمُكْيِرُيَس ٖهِتٰيٰا اَهَنْوُفِرْعَتَف َو اَم َكُّبَر ٍلِفاَغِب اَّمَع َنْوُلَمْعَت And say, ‘Allah possesses all the perfect attributes; He will soon show you His Signs—such Signs that you will recognize them. ’ And God is not unaware of what you do. ۤاَّنِا ۤاَنْلَسْرَا ْمُكْيَلِا اًلْوُسَر١ۙ۬ اًدِهاَش ْمُكْيَلَع ۤاَمَك ۤاَنْلَسْرَا ىٰلِا َنْوَعْرِف اًلْوُسَرىٰصَعَف ُنْوَعْرِف َلْوُسَّرلا 2 ُهٰنْذَخَاَف اًذْخَا اًلْيِبَّوَفْيَكَف َنْوُقَّتَت ْنِا ْمُتْرَفَك We have sent to you a Messenger, like the one who had been sent to Pharaoh. And when Pharaoh disobeyed that Messenger, We appre- hended him in a way that ended in his total ruin; that is to say, as a consequence of this apprehension, the Pharaoh was annihilated. How then can you, who are like the Pharaoh, expect to escape Our reckon- ing while you continue to disobey. ْمُكُراَّفُكَا ٌرْيَخ ْنِّم ْمُكِٕىٰٓلوُا ْمَا ْمُكَل ٌةَءٓاَرَب يِف ِرُبُّزلاْمَا َنْوُلْوُقَي ُنْحَن ٌعْيِمَج ٌرِصَتْنُّمُمَزْهُيَس ُعْمَجْلا َو 3 َنْوُّلَوُي َرُبُّدلا Are your disbelievers any better than the people of Pharaoh, or have the Divine Scriptures exempted or made you immune from punish- ment and reckoning. Do they say, ‘We are a powerful host that is strong and victorious. ’ All these hosts shall soon be routed and will turn their backs in flight. َو اَل ُلاَزَي َنْيِذَّلا اْوُرَفَك ْمُهُبْيِصُت اَمِب اْوُعَنَص ٌةَعِراَق ْوَا ُّلُحَت اًبْيِرَق ْنِّم ْمِهِراَد ىّٰتَح َيِتْاَي ُدْعَو ِهّٰللا 4 َّنِا َهّٰللا اَل ُفِلْخُي َداَعْيِمْلا 1.
