Number Four 173 representative, he should find out from these two wit- nesses the statement made by Maulaw i Abdullah, and giving due respect to his master, he should accept the testimony [of his master]. After that, he should trash 1 ٭ his hypercritical book ‘A sa’ -e-M u s a , because to oppose one’s spiritual master goes against the signs of piety. But if he adopts disobedience to his master and, like a disobedient son, contests him, in that case he should address me because his master has passed away. He 1. ٭ Since Munsh i Il a hi Bakhsh has received the ilh a m [revelations] that opposing Maulaw i Abdullah is a deviation from the right path. Therefore, he should be afraid of this ilh a m of his تكونوا اوّل كافربہ اِل [be not the first to disbelieve therein] and not become its fulfilment. He should not rely on some behind-the-scenes denial of Muhammad Y u suf. We have found convincing evidence concerning Ha fi z Sahib, and we will present that in a meeting and ask him to deny it under oath. Moreover, Munsh i Il a h i Bakhsh writes in his book ‘As a’ -e-M u s a about Maulaw i Abdullah Ghaznavi that he was a great saint, highly spiritual, and a recipient of revelations and visions; there was great spirituality in his company and that Munsh i Sahib himself is a subordinate servant of his. So I say that when he was such a great saintly person, and you are his mi- nor servant, why are you dishonouring such a revered person? It is very strange that Maulaw i Abdullah Ghaznavi testifies in my favour saying that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian is a heavenly light and is thus tes- tifying in my favour while you are presenting this revelation: وتناں * ومٰیس رخے دنچ. ریت ی تشگ دصتب� [One does not become ‘ I s a (Jesus) on the testimony of a few donkeys. ] Now you tell me: what kind of a man is he who calls his spiritual master a donkey?
