Number Four 137 would be killed. Remember that this prophecy of the Torah does not contain the words that the false prophet shall be killed when he sets forth the teaching that you prostrate to deities other than God or that you serve them. The words are that he should try to make you follow other gods; that is, he should try to make you follow different creeds against the teachings of the Torah—the doctrines that are from someone else and not from God. It is then that God will destroy him because he teaches that which is against the will of God. And then it is written in the Torah: The prophet who presumes to speak a word in my name which I have not commanded him to speak, that same prophet shall die. In this verse, God Almighty has stated clearly that in the sight of God the punishment of forging a lie against God is death. And in the earlier verses it has been mentioned that God Himself will kill him, and he will certainly not be spared. See the Torah, Deuteronomy, chapter 18, verse 20. And then the following passage about false prophets is in the Book of Prophet Ezekiel: Thus saith the Lord GOD Jehovah; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen noth- ing! [verse 13:3] They have seen vanity and lying divina- tion, saying, The LORD saith: and the LORD hath not sent them. . . [verse 13:6]. (7). . . ye say, (O false prophets!) ‘The LORD saith it ;
