A pproaching the West—117 Say ye, ‘We believe in All ā h and what has been revealed to us, and what was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob and his children, and what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to all other Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them; and to Him we submit ourselves. ’ (2:137) Again, This Messenger [Mu ḥ ammad] of Ours believes in that which has been revealed to him from His Lord, and so do the believers; all of them believe in All ā h, and His angels, and His Books, and all Messengers, saying ‘We make no distinction between any of His Messengers;’ and they say, ‘We have heard and are obedient. Our Lord, we implore Your forgiveness, and to You is the returning. ’ (2:286) In Isl ā m, to reject any one of the Prophets is an act of disbelief. Surely, those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messengers and desire to make a distinction between Allah and His Messengers and say, ‘We believe in some and disbelieve in others,’ and desire to take a course in between, These indeed are veritable disbelievers… (4:151-152)
