A pproaching the West—78 whatsoever to the creatures of God in general, and Muslims in particular, neither by their tongues nor by their hands nor by any other means; and that they shall keep themselves occupied in the service of God’s creatures, for God’s sake only, and shall endeavor to benefit mankind to the best of their God-given abilities and powers. The A ḥ madiyya Muslim community, therefore, condemns the use of violence in any shape or form for any reason! Their official motto is “Love for all, hatred for none. ” The good news is that this Movement is gaining momentum, and each year millions of Muslims are joining the A ḥ madiyya Movement, despite bitter persecution and legal hurdles created by some Isl ā mic countries. If the A ḥ madiyya Movement continues to grow with the same speed, it is hoped that the use of violence and terrorism shall be eradicated from the thoughts and actions of Muslims. Not only that, the founder of the A ḥ madiyya Muslim Jam ā ‘at has made a prophetic announcement concerning those who would continue the use of violence in the name of religion, who would shed blood, spread disorder calling it Jih ā d so as to serve their own agendas. He said that whoever shall engage in bloodshed in the name of Isl ā m shall be routed out in the end. Whoever would shed blood and spread mischievous disorder shall be defeated and disgraced! The A ḥ mad ī s, over the last century, have been against the so-called Jih ā d that is presently defaming Isl ā m, making it appear to be a barbaric religion, and the Prophet of Isl ā m to be a savage militaristic dictator! The A ḥ mad ī s uphold that presently a “Greater Jih ā d”—Jih ā d al-Akbar (25:52) is needed, but that can only be done by implementing the
