centre of the True Faith (Din-e-Haq) started train- ing workers for spreading the message of God۔This village, lit up with the glory of constant prayers and gatherings in God's name became a "House of Refuge" in the truest sense of the word۔At the time of the partition of the sub-con- tinent in 1947, Qadian was included in Indian territories۔Hazra: Mirza Bashiruddin Mehmood Ahmad, Khalifam Masih I decided that inspire of this division, the permanent centre of Ah- madiyyat will be maintained at all costs۔Hence, at the time of migration to Pakistan, at his call۔hundreds of Ahmadis offered their services for staying back in Qadian for the purpose of guarding this permanent centre of the community۔Finally, with his approval, 313 volunteers settled down in Qadian۔They were called the Darveshan-e- Qadian۔Thousands of mosques, holy places and religious centers of East Punjab were destroyed and uprooted, but the white 'Minara-tul-Masih' of Qadian continued to raise the sweet voice of truth around۔The people of Qadian were given only the 30th part of the total area۔The important buildings remained with the Ahmadis, whose repair, main- tenance, extension and renovation continues cvcn today۔Although a great number of Ahmadis live in Qadian, yet the Hindus and Sikhs hold a dominating majority۔This peaceful village is the chief centre of all the Ahmadiyya missions estab- ished in different cities of India۔Ahmadis have good relations with the local people۔Qadian has come into existence to stay till eternity۔The vicis- situdes of time cannot stop it from flourishing۔because God, in His love, has promised so۔Qadian's future and glad tidings from God: Revelations of the Promised Messiah ن الذي فرض عليك المرات للذك إلى معاد 'That God, who has assigned you the im- parting of the knowledge of the Holy Quran, will bring you back (to Qadian)۔" (Kitab-ul-Barria Pg 183۔Rouhani Khazain Voi 13 Pg 201) "I will expand Qadian to such an extent that people will say Lahore too existed once"۔(Tazkora Pg 81۔5) "A day is going to come when Qadian will shine brightly like the sun to confirm that it is the place of a true person"۔Dați-al-Bula, "It has been revealed to me that this place will be so thickly populated that the population will spread upto the river Bias"۔(Ref: Alfazal, 14th August 1928, "I was shown in a revelation that Qadian has grown into a big city with shopping centers extended into the distance far beyond anyone's imagination۔Shops in highrise buildings of 2 or 4 stories or even nigher, with raised platforms of very high quality construction۔Prosperous looking Seiths (business men), who add to the splendor of the market, are seated and in front of them are piles of gems, rubies۔pearls, diamonds, coins and sovereigns۔Different kinds of shops are glittering with a variety of merchandise"۔(Tazkara: Pg۔419-120) Introduction of a few holy and historical places of Qadian۔Bait-ul-Fikr it is that blessed room which the Promised Messiab used for study and writing purposes۔It was here that he wrote his outstanding book, Braheen-e-Ahmadiyya۔He had the following revelation in 1882 about this very room: الة تجعل لك سهولة في علي أمي بيت الفكر (Braheen-limadiyya Part 4, Pg 559۔Konkani Khazan Vo!
