The Vedas being scriptures of great antiquity, it is very likely that various additions and alterations were made in it by the pundits of subsequent generations. The fact that many millions in the Arya Varta have for thousands of years believed in them to be the Word of God is sufficient evidence of their truth. It is impossible that the word of an imposter should come to enjoy the reverence which the Vedas enjoy. '³³.
