Din Sayuti is quoted by Maududi in support of his assertion that according to the consensus of the Ulemma of the Ummah, prophethood has now ceased 57 and the author of Takmilah Majma ul Bihar, Hazrat. Imam Muhammed Tahir of Gujarat has been quoted by Maududi's colleague, the Sheikh ul Fibber Ehsan Ellah Zaheer, in his attempt to prove that the expression Khataman Nabiyyen means the last in the line of prophethood. 58.
