Ahmadiyyat: Destiny and Progress 11 and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors from among those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security and peace after their fear: They will worship Me, and they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious. According to this verse, the Holy Prophet sa was succeeded by the Rightly Guided Khilafat and the same institution was destined to follow the Promised Messiah. Allah the Exalted says of the Promised Messiah in the Holy Qur’an: ْ ٖ وَيَُكِّيِْم ہ عَلَيِْمْ اٰیٰتِ َتْلُوْا ی ْ هُوَ الَّذِىْ بَعَثَ فِ الُْمِّيَّٖ رَسُوْلً مِّنُْم ٍْ مِْ قَبْلُ لَفِْ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِي إِنْ كَنُْا ا ُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالِْكْمَةَ وَ ھ ُ ُعَلِّم ی َ و 12 ُ ْم ی ِ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيُْ الَْك ط ْ بِِم َلْحَقُوْا ی وَّاٰخَرِيَْ مِنُْمْ لَمَّا He it is Who has raised among the Unlettered people a Messenger from among themselves who recites unto them His Signs, and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and wisdom, although they had been, before, in manifest 12 Surah Al-Jumu‘ah , 62:3,4 [Publishers]
