FOREWORD is the English translation of Qadian kei Arya aur Hamm —written by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah as and published in 1907. The background to this book is that during the Jalsa Salana of 1906 in the month of December that year, whilst the Promised Messiah as was leading Zuhr Prayer, a Hindu got up and began uttering the most vile obscenities to a crowd of almost 2,000 guests who were praying behind the Promised Messiah. When the Promised Messiah as had completed his Prayers he felt the hearts of his followers to be aggrieved owing to the abuse and comforted them by saying a few words.
