— Part I 56 Scientists are involved in these and many other similar studies, and each discovery leads them on to another underlying mystery of such balances, layer after layer. In order to describe the principle of justice operative in the entire ecosystem, covering both the inanimate and the animate, and their mutual co- ordination, one cannot conceive of a better expression or description than the word Mauz u n. In short, the principle of justice found in the Holy Quran is so vast that one finds it operative in every particle of the universe. Much has been said and written on this topic, but the subject is inexhaustible. It would not be appropriate therefore to make an attempt here to discuss this subject in intricate scientific terms. The discussion, however interesting it may be, will remain out of reach of the layman.
