The Teaching of Adhering to Justice between One’s Own Children As far as the rights of children upon their parents are concerned, the Holy Quran makes it compulsory upon parents not to give preferential treatment to some of their children over others. When Allah entrusts ownership to people over their properties and children, it does not mean that they possess unlimited rights over them. The absolute owner is only Allah. All human possessions are bestowed by Him. The philosophy of possession is repeatedly explained in the Holy Quran in the same manner.
