— Part IV 364 the world joined their heads to arbitrate, and the way they tried to crush the nations they considered to be criminals, was in itself an unjust and criminal attitude. They intended to crush them forever, so that they could never again raise their heads endangering world peace. Similarly, the arbitration after the First World War laid the foundation for the Second World War. Every serious student of history will testify to this statement. He can easily pinpoint all the cruel decisions which created a strong reaction among the defeated nations and they quietly resolved to take revenge. The same applies to the decisions taken after the Second World War to obliterate the dangers of a third world war. Leave alone all the other wrong decisions and just concentrate upon the one taken unanimously by Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin during their summit in Turkey. They all believed that the German nation would always pose a danger to world peace. So they cleverly thought that if the Germans are divided in the middle and handed over to opposite ideologies, in due course both the German halves will be polarised against each other. West Germany will always feel threatened by East Germany and vice versa. In this way, the attention of the German people will be distracted from other nations, and, even if their suppressed sense of vengeance erupts, it will erupt against each other.
