Warfare Incidental to the Lack of Justice Man is not in danger because of the proliferation of arms throughout the world. Man is in danger because of the ill-intentions of the nations who possess such arms. In the case of eventual warfare between different nations, how should they be resolved according to the Holy Quran? The answer is given in the following verse: And if two parties of believers fight against each other, make peace between them, then if after that one of them transgresses against the other, fight the party that transgresses until it returns to the command of Allah. Then if it returns, make peace between them with equity, and act justly. Verily, Allah loves the just.
