In their political history, their continuous bifurcation into two opposing camps is their punishment mentioned in the Holy Quran. Hence, the inference is not far-fetched that their crime was to split the person of God despite the claim of His Unity. Jesus Christ as never claimed that God was a splittable Person. They violated his teaching and created an internal split which became their own destiny. Hence, believing in One God as was admonished by Jesus as , they attempted to split Him apart internally. Some more Punishments in Accordance with the Violation of Covenants The Holy Quran relates many punishments relating to the violation of covenants. Perhaps in no other Divine book can one find the mention of a similar series of interrelated punishments. In the Bible, however, we find some punishments prescribed in relation to the crimes committed. The Holy Quran, while analysing the history of crimes mentioned in the Bible, only chooses such examples as are applicable to all decadent religions in the world.
