295 20 Covenants, their Different Categories, Punishments and Rewards Covenant of Man with God As far as covenants are concerned, this subject has also been further discussed in the Holy Quran. In the verses of the Holy Quran, there is such great order as binds them in harmony and, in a beautiful way, interlinks and mutually relates them. Verily, those who swear allegiance to you indeed swear allegiance to Allah. The hand of Allah is over their hands. So whoever breaks his oath , breaks it to his own loss; and whoever fulfils the covenant that he has made with Allah, He will surely give him a great reward.
