The Quranic teaching during that period is not such as could have sprung from the heart of a person who was profoundly emotionally disturbed. Most certainly this teaching is that of a Being Who knows the present and the future and Who is unbiased in relation to all His creatures. The same point is emphasized by the Founder as of the Ahmadiyya Community when he wrote that you should remember that God is not a relative of any of His creatures. If He is a relative to one, He is a relative to all, if not, He is related to none. This point can be verified from the conduct of the Holy Prophet sa and his Companions when they were engaged in a war of survival. At that critical period, the Divine teaching bestowed upon the Holy Prophet sa was: Allah forbids you not, respecting those who have not fought against you on account of your religion, and who have not driven you forth from your homes, that you be kind to them and act equitably towards them; surely Allah loves those who are equitable.
