165 10 Freedom of Conscience in Matters of Faith The verse mentioned below deals with a completely new aspect of the same aforementioned principles. According to this verse, all matters pertaining to the area of human faith are likewise governed by these principles. Moreover, they are not confined to the faith of humans of any one era; in fact they are related to all humans of every age, individually and collectively. The verse is as follows: Surely, the Believers, and the Jews, and the Christians and the Sabians ⎯ whichever party from among these truly believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good deeds ⎯ shall have their reward with their Lord, and no fear shall come upon them, nor shall they grieve.
